Give some affection to your journey!
It does not matter what journey you are on, do not allow life to frighthen you. There are days we might feel trapped by our mental dialogues. We try to seek answers from high and low places, but often time it is difficult to get a response. This is simply because there are no external factors that can provide us with what we search for. Our hair and skin that we dearly and carely love, our slender, voluptuous, or muscular physical frame, our mac powders and 💄, our fashionable dresses, bags shoes or sneakers, and even our very family and friends will not always be at our every our beckon call. Everything external is fleeting, it is like dust that dissipates into thin air, it is short-lived, it has a brief life span. What then should we use to drive us forward on our journey? What can we use to show some affection to our own journey of uniqueness? Our different paths that we take on this journey can only be ignited with fresh passion and faith. This fresh passion and faith is encouraged by our language that we use with ourselves. There are many of us who arise from our slumber every morning and we ask ourselves what could God do with me? With everything that I have done, what could God ever use me to for? Tell yourself that you are going to start now rather than later simply because:
1.Saying one of those days I can do that, probably mean none of those days, so be very specific about “the when”. The when will make it possible for a task to be achieved.

2.Oliver Wendell once remarked that a mind stretched cannot return to its original dimension, so ask yourself what am I doing today to become more successful tomorrow.

3.Do not forget to arm yourselves with some form of spiritual truth. It does not matter what this form is, whether it is Buddha, The Tao, Christ, or The Universe. The spiritual form can speak to us objectively through his word and subjectively through his spirtual form. This for me comes from communication through prayer, mediation through fasting and moving away from any form of noise pollution to intently listen.

4.Since motivation is a language and we have no other choice in using it, we have to use time as an equal opportunity employer. The fact is that like all governments or presidents who run a country, we are also given 24 hours, 1,440 minutes, 86,400 seconds daily. What we use our time to do and how we use our time should be personally accounted for by us. Holding ourselves accountable can allow us to give birth to new internal motivational conversations.
5.Winston Churchill once remarked that the price of greatness is responsibility. Let us not go telling ourselves that greatness can be achieved in a nanosecond. Rome was not built in a day, neither can a vaccine be created overnight. Personally, I have failed in January at my new diet plan that I have commited to undertake for the year 2020, personally, when I bite off more than I can chew both at work and play, I miserably fail. We are often times filled with the vim, vigor and vitality to take on the universe, but let’s stop and have that mental conversation with ourselves that even though we were born to win, we can only win one race at a time.
