I believe truth is the cure for all illusions of control. Truth is like your creator’s whisper that is difficult to elude. It will tap into your soul repeatedly. We were all born with that inherent magnitude to feel it, so do not dare to ignore it. I have come to realize that it is a part of my dream; a dream that came to light as I was commanded to be still. The “it” is my “My Amazing Destination of Truths (Guided Happiness Dictionary) which I crave your indulgence in consuming, once it is released. The truths in my book are far from the purely academical, scientific, investigative, over-analytical duty that had to be done throughout your undergraduate and postgraduate lives. My truths that will be revealed to you are the simple palpitations of my heart, the shudder of seeing the light. My truths are my significance and feelings.
Gatsby from the “Great Gatsby” believed in the green light,
"..... the orgastic future that year by year recedes before us. It eluded us then, but that's no matter- tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther........so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past."
We all have a green light which is significant of the truths in our lives. The green light is the dreams of the future. Dreams in and of themselves never lose optimism, so as individuals, when we come across detours, put on your dancing shoes and create a celebratory dance and “tomorrow [let] [us] run faster, stretch out our arms farther….” We cannot afford to show annoyance when we are presented with roadblocks. Instead, expend the energy in pursuit of other goals even if they are not on your vision board. Life will take us through core challenges, but we have to “beat on”. To breathe through life’s core challenges, please checkout the core challenges exercises below:
Remember, only people who are trying to grasp the green light (their truths, their dreams) will encounter detours so stop comparing your life to Peter, Pam and Paul and do the hard work. Michael Jordan once said, “….if you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” I have learnt how to figure it out. I have learn’t how to run, walk, and dribble up the stairs. I have learn’t how to find comfort in my challenges because this is the road that I have chosen to take, the one less travelled. If you have not seen my lastest video running the staircase, please check it out here.
